We have had a SipCaddy stuck to a glossy painted wall for over two months, and it won't budge. Another one was recently applied, and it fell off within a few minutes. The secret to the long application was a little tiny lick to the suction cup. However, on one shower's slightly less glossy plastic wall, the suction cup stayed stuck for days when applied dry, while licking it made it fall off immediately. All surfaces and applications are different, so please be cautious until you have figured out what's best for yours.

 

What all can SipCaddy hold?

Cans from 6oz to 24oz (yes, that's right, 24oz), bottles, wine glasses, champagne flutes, slim coffee mugs, solo cups, regular cups, and a wide variety of bathroom products.

 

What is it made out of?

ABS plastic #7, which is dishwasher safe and recyclable. It is extremely strong and virtually unbreakable. All of our colors are slightly translucent to give it a sleek look.

 

How strong is it? (PLEASE READ ON SAFELY INSTALLING)

We aren't just saying we use a high quality suction cup: it literally is the highest quality available. We went to great lengths to ensure we had the best suction cup holding up our design. They are American made and rated at 7 pounds when applied correctly to a non-porous surface. Porous stone such as travertine does not work with suction cups. Smooth tile and glass are ideal, making it great for most showers. Other great surfaces are mirrors, ceramic, marble, and even the body of a car (great for tailgating!) It also can work on a regular, painted wall as long as the paint is glossy. Matte and eggshell coatings do not work. Any surface with slight texture, even ones you might think are "smooth", will not work with any suction cup, including ours.

Even though we have the best suction cup, it still has to be applied properly and maintained like any suction cup does. We have found that giving it a little tiny lick or drop of moisture helps maintain the suction even better. In bathroom environments, condensation and moisture on the surfaces may eventually weaken the suction. It is recommended to reapply the suction cup before use, and always test the SipCaddy before putting in your drink. We do not recommend using glass vessels, as accidents can sometimes happen.

Do not apply after there is condensation, make sure the surface is dry first.

 

How quick do you ship?

We have e-commerce experience and you will find our shipping time can't be beat. We often get packages out same day, and even on Saturdays. Most orders will be in the mail within 24 hours and usually only take 2-4 days using regular First Class mail.

For International Orders, it typically takes 10-20 days. During peak times, we've found other country's mail systems can take up to 5 weeks.

*** We ship to nearly every country. However, shipping Internationally comes with risk because our carrier (USPS) eventually hands off the package to your country's carrier and it is their responsibility to make the delivery. We don't see too many problems with the main countries we ship to (Canada, EU, Australia, etc). However, other countries such as Brazil, Russia, Mexico, etc have some carrier issues. We will still ship to these countries, but the buyer assumes the risk if their local carrier does not deliver the package.

 

2018 UPDATE- INTERNATIONAL PRICE INCREASE

Starting in 2018, USPS has raised International shipping for small packages. For one or two SipCaddies, we can send them in an envelope instead of a box. We take them out of their packaging so they lay flatter. You can re-insert it after arrival. This is how we can keep our International shipping rate affordable.

 

Can I get a discount on shipping for purchasing a large quantity?
